The You Belong Here initiative is a collaboration between local governments in the Metro Vancouver region and is intended to increase awareness of local government employers and the broad range of career opportunities that exist in the sector.

Local Government, also known as Municipal Administration, is the level of government closest to the people it serves. Local governments have elected officials and paid employees who are hired to carry out the vision and mission and deliver services within the community.
